2015-2017

Early Days

The founder started Seahawk in college and built websites for local brands in North Carolina. Initially, the focus was creating engaging and effective WordPress websites for these brands. Over time, the company expanded its services, including hacked site repair and complete white-label WordPress development services. Today, Seahawk is a full-service WordPress development agency providing services to clients worldwide. Despite its growth, Seahawk remains committed to its founding principles of delivering quality work and exceptional customer service.

2018

Founding Year

Seahawk Media is now legally established and moved to Boston, USA. We became GoDaddy’s growth partners in the USA. GoDaddy sends us overflow support for services like Hacked Sites and Site Optimization on-site work that their tech support couldn’t handle. Seahawk helps thousands of GoDaddy customers on pro connect with WordPress support and web services. Ryan, Seahawk Co-Founder, fulfills services with Viraj, our first developer based in India, who is still with us today!

2019

Going Global

Seahawk Global acquired Sitecook India, founded by Gautam Khorana. Hence, Seahawk Global acts as a parent company for Sitecook India, and together they officially collaborate as Seahawk India. After the official launch, Seahawk India hired its first UI Designer from Poland. They embarked on their VIP segment journey by onboarding GoDaddy India and IHOP enterprise customers.

2020

Walking on a Dream

Seahawk lands the first official white-label partnership contract to build out the Pro Services program for DreamHost, a major web hosting company in the WordPress space and top recommended provider by WordPress.org.

2021

Growth & Product-Market Fit

Seahawk launches self-service marketplace app for direct-to-customer business (SMB & VIP). Partnership with Vendasta for Web Development services such as Hacked Site Repair and Site Optimization. Officially establishes leadership team. Designs and develops notable Enterprise VIP website projects for brands like Clean Juice and RetailNext. Product-market fit with DreamHost partnership after successful results.

2022-2023

New Partners & WordCamp Attendance

In 2023, Seahawk expanded its network, partnering with industry-leading companies like Convesio, Hosting.co.uk, Vendasta, LuxHosting, and Alibaba Cloud. The founders also attended WordCamp 2023 in Athens, staying connected with the WordPress community and the latest trends.

In terms of plugin partners, we collaborated with PatchStack, Atarim, MarketGoo, and InstaWP to enhance website security, foster collaboration, and optimize online visibility.

October, 2023

A leap forward

In October 2023, Seahawk took a significant leap forward by securing the backing of Awesome Motive and the WPBeginner Growth Fund. This partnership not only reaffirmed Seahawk’s dedication to excellence but also provided access to invaluable resources and expertise. Recognizing by industry leaders validated Seahawk’s vision and potential, propelling it to the forefront of its sectors.
